It has been a long time since anything was done on this blog and with the raise of AI it would have been a shame not to use this capability to do anything about this. I am not talking about generating editorial content here, there is plenty enough of those elsewhere on the web. I am talking about doing something about the look and feel which has never really been my forte. So, with the help of Claude, I’ve gone through the old design and made a few updates:
- replace mini.css by pico.css
- move to a complete dark theme
- simplify the layout so that articles are in focus
- simplify the footer
- simplify about page and provide recent experience highlights
- a few accessibility fixes
I am also trying to reduce the time it takes for me to actually publish content. Today, I need to write the content, find an image for the header, edit the image to the right size, etc. I am trying to automate some of those tasks so that I can purely focus on the content and what I have to say. Let’s see how this goes…

For the time being, comments are managed by Disqus, a third-party library. I will eventually replace it with another solution, but the timeline is unclear. Considering the amount of data being loaded, if you would like to view comments or post a comment, click on the button below. For more information about why you see this button, take a look at the following article.
